We know that our closets are good. But you don’t need to stay inside.

IKEA for all, inclusive, full of acceptance, hiring no matter the age, nationality, religion or sexual preferences — this is what the flyer says. And what inclusivity and furniture giant have in common?

Closets.

The project was inspired by the popular expression, “coming out of the closet,” which is widely used in the context of someone revealing their sexual orientation, particularly within the LGBT community.

Certainly, IKEA produces and sells wardrobes/closets, but they’re definitely not for hiding!

By looking at the flyer inspired by IKEA manuals, people who, for their own always-important reasons, are hesitant to reveal their true selves might find newfound courage and support.

The flyer shows how IKEA makes people welcome outside of their wardrobes, inside the IKEA’s office. Or even more — it gives a simple, easy instruction on how to do it!

This is a personal project based, inspired and developed on the creative challenge Brief Aberto.
